Impetus × H4H — Incorporated Booth Concept and Staffing Plan

Imp Pulse Festival 2026 · Saturday, August 21 · Mango Ranch, Valencia, Negros Oriental

1. The Governing Idea

The brief asks for a booth that is built into and staffed by Impetus, so that the H4H team does not have to work it. That single constraint should drive every design decision, because it changes what the booth fundamentally is. A booth that its own principals staff can afford to be conversational and improvisational; a booth staffed by partners must be self-explanatory, self-running, and scripted. Nothing in it can depend on a founder being present to explain what it means.

The concept that satisfies this is a credentials wall, not a sales desk.

THE CURRENCY OF CARING STATION — a compact, high-contrast installation inside the Impetus footprint that presents what H4H and its principals have already done, what is running right now, and what happens next, in a format a festival-goer can absorb in eleven seconds while walking past and in three minutes if they stop.

The Philippines detail is what makes this credible rather than promotional. The Currency of Caring program launched its seventh global location in Barangay Okoy, Santa Fe, Cebu in February 2026, after Rwanda and five US states, with ₱200 tokens redeemable for chef-prepared meals at local partners [1]. Imp Pulse is in Negros Oriental, one island over from that pilot, six months later. So the booth does not say "an American group has arrived." It says the work was already here; the music came to meet it. That is a far stronger proposition to a Filipino festival audience, and it is the line every Impetus staffer should be able to deliver from memory.

2. Physical Design

The booth should read as an extension of the Impetus brand with an H4H module set into it, rather than a separate tenant. Practically, that means Impetus dressing and Impetus color logic on the structure, with the H4H content living in a defined vertical panel and a single table surface.

Zone Footprint Contents Purpose
The Wall 2.4 m × 2.4 m backdrop panel Six-panel accolade wall mirroring the Instagram carousel frames, one per principal, plus a master header Passive credibility; readable from the walkway without stopping
The Ledger 1.8 m table, festival-height The token demonstration: a bowl of ₱200 Currency of Caring tokens, a countertop card explaining the mechanic, and a running meal counter The single interactive object; converts an abstract mission into a physical thing to hold
The Signal One 43-inch screen or tablet on a stand Looping 90-second silent reel with burned-in captions: Boajibu, the Cebu pilot, MINDTOUR, plus stage-time card Works in open-air noise where no audio is audible
The Handoff Acrylic stand at the table edge QR code to a single landing page; printed one-pagers only as backup Captures interest without requiring a conversation
The Shade Adjacent to Impetus seating Two stools, nothing else Where a genuinely interested visitor gets seated for three minutes

Two constraints deserve emphasis. First, the venue is open-air and includes a waterpark and go karts [2], which means ambient noise is high, foot traffic is wet and fast-moving, and paper degrades. All printed material should be laminated or synthetic stock, and the screen must be legible in daylight with captions rather than audio. Second, everything on the wall must be final before load-in, because there will be no one on site with authority to correct a factual error about a principal's credits.

3. The Eleven-Second Read

Because staff attention is shared with Impetus's own duties, the wall must do the persuading. The visual hierarchy should resolve in this order:

  1. Header band: H4H × IMPETUS and beneath it, in smaller type, ST. LOUIS · MISSION · MUSIC
  2. The proof line: A UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT SIGNATORY. SEVEN COUNTRIES. THE PHILIPPINES SINCE FEBRUARY.
  3. Six faces, each with a name, a role, and no more than three accolades
  4. The ask: CATCH THE SET — followed by the stage and time, and the QR code

The proof line matters more than any individual biography. H4H is a registered signatory member of the UN Global Compact with initiatives aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals [3], and that is the credential that distinguishes this from an artist-management booth. It should be the largest piece of text after the logo.

4. Staffing Model

The operating assumption is that Impetus staff who are already scheduled for the booth absorb H4H duties with no added headcount. This is achievable only if their obligations are reduced to a script and three physical actions.

4.1 What Impetus staff are actually responsible for

Duty Description Time cost
Deliver the 20-second line A memorized positioning statement, below Continuous, low effort
Hand a token Give the visitor a ₱200 demonstration token to hold; explain the redemption mechanic in one sentence 30 seconds per engaged visitor
Point to the QR and the stage time Direct interest to the landing page and the stage activation 10 seconds
Escalate If a visitor asks about partnership, funding, or media, take a name on the escalation sheet and hand the H4H card Rare

They are explicitly not responsible for explaining Boajibu, discussing the Sierra Leone land tract, negotiating anything, quoting figures beyond those on the wall, or speaking to press. All four route to escalation.

4.2 The memorized line

Every staffer should be able to say this without notes:

"H4H is a music-and-mission collective out of St. Louis — they're a UN Global Compact signatory. Their food program has been running in Cebu since February, ₱200 gets a neighbor a real chef-cooked meal. This is their first Philippine festival. They're on stage at [TIME] — that's the whole crew, Grammy-winning producers, Chingy's tour DJ, all of them."

Roughly twenty seconds, contains the credential, the local proof, the novelty, and the call to action. If a staffer remembers only one sentence, it should be the Cebu one, because it is the one that is locally verifiable.

4.3 Coverage

Window Impetus staff on booth H4H presence Notes
Gates to mid-afternoon 2 (normal Impetus rotation) None required Wall and screen carry it
Ninety minutes pre-set 2, plus 1 floater Optional: one principal drops by Highest-intent traffic window
During the stage activation 1 All on stage Booth runs on wall and screen alone; screen switches to a "WE'RE ON STAGE NOW" card
Post-set to close 2, plus 1 floater Principals may hold court by choice, not obligation Peak conversion window; token bowl restocked

The post-set window is where the booth earns its value, and it is worth noting to the H4H principals that while they are not obligated to work the booth, twenty voluntary minutes immediately after the set will convert more meaningfully than the entire rest of the day. That should be framed as an option, not a duty.

4.4 The one-page staff card

A single laminated card lives under the table containing: the memorized line; the stage time; the four escalation triggers and the phone number to text; correct pronunciations of the six names; and a strict "do not know / will find out" instruction for anything else. This card is the entire training burden. It should be walked through once at the morning staff briefing in under five minutes.

5. Past, Present, Future — The Content Spine

The brief specifies that the booth highlight past accomplishments, projects, and future plans. Structuring the wall along that timeline gives Impetus staff a natural conversational path and gives visitors a reason to read left to right.

PAST — what has been done PRESENT — what is running FUTURE — what happens next
A Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 46th Grammys, via Koko's first major placement, "Shake Ya Tailfeather" [4] Currency of Caring live in Barangay Okoy, Santa Fe, Cebu since February 2026 — seventh global location [1] Deepening the Philippine footprint: additional restaurant partners and barangays beyond the Cebu pilot
The Boajibu Project — cultivating a 24-mile, 62.1 km² tract along the Sewa River in Sierra Leone [3] MINDTOUR, H4H's mentorship and leadership program for young people in entertainment [3] MINDTOUR sessions with Negros Oriental and Cebu youth — producers, DJs, and artists teaching in-market
Twenty-five-plus years of festival production across Rockstar Wireless, the Calgary Stampede, and Maui Lani Fest [5] Fresh Harvest 365's vertical hydroponic smart farms, growing pesticide-free produce year-round [6] A hydroponic feasibility conversation for Negros Oriental, pairing local growers with the smart-farm model
International touring across the US, Canada, Europe, and Southeast Asia, including an established US → Cebu → London lane [5] ATLAS, H4H's global equal-access initiative, aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals [3] A returning annual presence at Imp Pulse rather than a one-off debut

The future column is deliberately modest and non-committal in its wording. Nothing there should be printed as a promise; each item should be phrased as an intention ("exploring," "in conversation with," "building toward") so that no Impetus staffer is placed in the position of having guaranteed something on H4H's behalf.

6. Measurement

Three numbers, all collectable by a staffer with a pen, tell you whether the booth worked: tokens handed out (a proxy for real conversations, since a token only leaves the bowl during an explanation), QR scans (from the landing page analytics, requiring no staff effort), and escalations logged (names taken for partnership, media, or funding). A fourth, softer signal is worth recording anecdotally: how many visitors mention having already heard of the Cebu program. If that number is above zero, the local-proof strategy is working and should be scaled next year.
